The RATP company, which organizes train transportation in and around Paris, the capital of France, gave the baby born on the suburban train free transportation on all lines until the age of 25.
According to the BBC Turkish report, RATP said in a statement on Twitter that one of the RER A lines was stopped "with the birth of an unexpected baby on the train".
It was announced that the baby was born at 11:40 local time on Monday with the help of other passengers and emergency teams in the compartment.
In the Twitter message, it was said that "The A line is pleased to announce that the newborn baby is entitled to travel free of charge up to 25 years old on all RATP lines."
It turned out that all voyages on the line were stopped bilaterally during birth. RATP later explained, “As far as we know, mother and baby are good.”
Paris Transportation Director Valerie Pécresse also congratulated the mother after birth.
