Enes İlter, 10, who waited at the tram stop in Istanbul Güngören, fell on the line while the tram approached the station for an unknown reason. The child under the tram was rescued with the help of the people around. Upon the notification of those who saw the incident, health teams were sent to the scene.
Medical teams who performed the first intervention at the scene of the incident later removed the child to the hospital by ambulance.
An investigation was launched in relation to the tram accident.
