Ahmet Arslan said, “After the completion of the Tekkeköy line in the light rail project, the necessary studies have been initiated for the tram to go to the university; In this context, the tender for the 3rd phase (between Kurupelit Last stop - University Life Center) Light Rail System project was held on May 2, 2017. Currently, the front of the hospital tube passage works, cable channel productions, the construction of the rail platform catenary foundations continue and the project, which is 6,4 kilometers long, is planned to be completed by June 2018. ”
40 TRAIN SERVICE WILL BE GIVEN
Ahmet Arslan also said about the project; “In this project, 6,4 kilometers of double track railway, 10 stops (Lodgings, Polyclinics, Vocational School, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Agriculture, TEKNOPARK, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Student Dormitories), 6,5 percent slope There are 150 viaducts with a length of 380 meters - 2 meters. In addition to the existing trains, 11 trains are planned to be purchased, and the Light Rail System will serve with a total of 40 trains with the arrival of new trains ”.
