High Speed Train Arrives in Bursa

Time passes fast… When we first wrote it in 1993, Bandırma-Bursa-Osmaneli railway feasibility was on the agenda of the TBMM Transportation Sub-Commission.

At the beginning of 2011, excitement increased when Faruk Çelik, who was the Minister of Labor and Social Security at the time, announced that he would be tendered. However, when Çelik went to Urfa with political appointment, the political pursuit of the same interest in the project was disrupted.

In that process O

Although the goal of "getting on the train at the end of 23" was set at the groundbreaking ceremony of 2012 Ministers, held at the entrance of Balat at the Pass on December 3, 2016 and attended by today's Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Binali Yıldırım, 400 million lira for the infrastructure between Bursa and Yenişehir was over in the tunnels. .

After that…

The route changed in Yenişehir, after the warning of AK Party Bursa Deputy Hüseayin Şahin, the new route was found to be wrong and the old route was returned. The Yenişehir-Osmaneli project has just been completed.

Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Çavuşoğlu announced the opening of the new auction in the first days of the new year. The 3 April 2018 was held on Tuesday.

We shared on these columns yesterday that the infrastructure, superstructure, electromechanical systems of the Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli stage, that is, the entire line, were tendered for 2.5 billion liras. Accounts and questions also started again.

According to the tender specifications, the work must be completed in 730 days, so the calculations are "When will Bursa citizens get on the train?" is being done around the question.

It looks like this: According to the specification, if there is no problem, the contractor will finish towards the end of 2020. More precisely, it has to finish.

400 million lira for the infrastructure between Bursa and Yenişehir was finished in tunnels, but the tunnels were not finished. 16 kilometers of the 9-kilometer tunnel could be built. Next to the tunnel for 7 kilometers, there are 4 large 2-kilometer tunnels between Yenişehir and Osmaneli.

Generally, there is an understanding that "the whole issue is in money, if the allowance is not interrupted, all will be exceeded" but money is not enough. Because, a maximum of 4 meters of tunnel can be opened a day.

According to this calculation, there is an expectation that the tunnels can be completed by the end of 2021 at the earliest.

That's why…

We wanted to repeat the last sentence of our article dated February 18, 2017 once again:

Today's budget facts give the impression that the 2020 target will be exceeded. I guess I'll have to settle for the education of the Republic of Turkey in 100, the 2023th anniversary of the organization.

This is the table.
