Governorship of Istanbul, 1 May Labor and Solidarity Day made a statement about the measures. In the written statement, the following statements were given:
1 May Labor and Solidarity Day will be celebrated in our city as well as in our country.
All kinds of measures were planned at the highest level in the rally area and throughout the province in order to realize the celebrations in Maltepe Rally Area in peace and peace. It is envisaged that security and traffic measures will be taken on the routes that our people use intensively with the transportation vehicles such as metro, metrobus and marmaray. In this context, our 26.174 staff will serve in festive celebrations. Alternative routes, which can be used with roads to be closed before and after the rally, will be announced separately.
During the implementation of the measures taken by our citizens, we ask that they comply with the rules and do not give any premium for any incitement and excitement, and we celebrate the 1 May Labor and Solidarity Day of our workers and laborers.
