There Is No Change In The System Of Private Public Buses In Bursa

Sadi Eren, head of Bursa Private Public Busers Chamber, said, "For now, there is no change in the system."

In the last few days, it was announced that there was no change after the announcement that Private Public Buses in Bursa will exit the BUKART system and switch to the ticketed system.

Bursa Chamber of Public Bus Service, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Directorate of Transport Coordination (UKOME) does not meet the demands of the 1 from April April announced that the money will be paid.

Making a statement after the meetings and studies, Bursa Private Public Busers Chamber President Sadi Eren said, “As it is known, it came to the agenda to exit the BUKART system in the private public buses in Bursa. We have a study on this subject. We are currently negotiating with the municipality for solutions. We are working excitedly for Bursa. We believe that the process will be resolved in the best way ”.

The previous meeting of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş and private public bus drivers did not yield any results. Providing information after the meeting that lasted until the late hours, the private public bus drivers made a statement, "As of April 1, we will stop the card system and switch to the cash payment system."

BURULAŞ General Manager Kürşat Çapar said, “The revenues of private public buses are below their expenses, they cannot earn money, they make a loss. The current electronic ticket system has its weaknesses. Open to abuse. But we do not abuse. We will make it safer at the first opportunity. We are meeting with a few companies ”reminding the words of the private public bus drivers shared the following statement with the public:

“Although we signed a protocol with the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, buses belonging to BURULAŞ continue to operate on the routes we are on, in violation of this. We have still not been paid for the damages we have incurred due to the misconduct. It was determined that BURULAŞ's unfair deduction of 20 thousand liras from each of our members was unlawful with the court decision, but this figure was not paid to us. The electronic ticket system is also operated by BURULAŞ without authorization. The fee collected under the name of vehicle eligibility fee was not returned to us despite the court decision. Our request to examine the security of the electronic card system with independent auditors was also not fulfilled. When the statements and findings of BURULAŞ General Manager are evaluated together with the injustices we have suffered so far, it is obvious that we cannot continue public transportation under the electronic ticket system.

Electronic tickets BUKART will not be valid in private public buses until a safe, auditable new generation electronic card system is created, unpaid costs, unconditionally paid to us, and the damages we suffer due to the violation of the protocol are calculated and paid to us. All boardings will be carried out with the "Cash fee payment system."
