A Morning Surprise from Mayor Kocaoğlu to Women from İzmir

Women from İzmir started the 8 March International Working Women's Day activities with a morning surprise. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Aziz Kocaoglu, as in previous years, because of this special day again preferred public transport. In the early hours of the morning, Mayor Kocaoğlu traveled to the tram with the citizens who went to work and distributed carnations to the female passengers in both the car and the stations. Mayor Kocaoğlu's surprise starting at Mavişehir Tram Station Karşıyaka-Konak continued on the ferry. Metropolitan Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu did not neglect to celebrate the 8th of March, the International Labor Day for all women, who met along the way in Konak Square. The Izmir women, who started the day with a flower and a sincere “good morning” from the President, felt the privilege of living in a “Woman Friendly” city.
