COMPLETED IN THE END OF THIS YEAR
There will be modern flight simulators on the first floor of GUHEM, which will include more than 150 interactive devices, aviation learning center, space innovation workshop and vertical wind tunnel. On the second floor, called the "space floor", information about atmospheric events, the solar system, planets and galaxies will be presented. The center, whose groundbreaking ceremony was held last August, is planned to be completed by the end of this year.
In December, Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Çavuşoğlu and Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Faruk Özlü visited GUHEM and received information about the works.

BTSO President Burkay said that the center will increase the awareness of young people at primary and secondary education level on space and aviation. Burkay stated that besides the exhibition areas, there will also be workshops and equipment where educational programs will be held, and said, “We should raise more awareness of our youth on space and aviation in our country, which is now at the point of producing its domestic satellite. In August 2017, we laid the foundations of GUHEM with the participation of our Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Fikri Işık. Half of the construction of our center has been completed.
