Feasibility Ready for Ankara-Istanbul Second High Speed ​​Train Project

Work started in Düzce for the second high-speed train project between Ankara and Istanbul to 1,5 hour. Duzce University, which will cost 4 billion dollars between Ankara-Sincan-Çayirhan-Sakarya-Istanbul, which will reduce the journey time between Istanbul and Ankara from 1,5 to 5 hours, started studies.

Duzce University prepared a feasibility report to pass the project's route through the Faculty of Technology professor Professor. In a letter to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Ayhan Şamandar suggested the Ankara-Bolu-Düzce-Sakarya-İzmit-İstanbul route.

Şamandar, who listed his suggestions and the benefits of these proposals at the workshop held at Düzce University, emphasized that this route will contribute to the growth of Düzce, which has a low development order.

In the current plan, the project cost of 5 billion dollars stated as the proposed route will fall to 4 billion dollars Shamandar, if the proposed route is preferred if the 2 highway and high-speed train line would support each other said.

Şamandar listed the other benefits of the feasibility route, stating that the fault line will not cause problems in the specified route, traffic accidents, loss of life and property will be reduced, gasoline and fuel will be saved by specifying that migration to Istanbul will be reduced.
