82 Percent of Balıkesirs Want the Nostalgic Tram Project

The citizens of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Zekai Kafaoğlu received full support from the 'nostalgic tram line to the National Kuvvetler Avenue' project.

Stating that the National Forces Street will be closed to traffic and the tram project will bring a nostalgic atmosphere to the city, the citizens expressed that they are eagerly awaiting the implementation of the project. In the survey conducted by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality on social media, the citizens asked whether or not to build a Nostalgic tram on Milli Kuvvetler Avenue? The questionnaire was published. As a result of the survey that ended the previous day, 82 percent of the citizens said they wanted the tram to be built, while 12 percent said they did not.
