Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım AK Party gave the good news that Konya-Karaman high speed train services will start in 6 at the 2018th Ordinary City Congress of Konya.
Explaining the investments of Konya at the AK Party Konya 6th Ordinary City Congress, Prime Minister Yıldırım said: “We know Konya and Konya knows us. You know best where and where Konya comes from. We have given 16 billion investments and support to Konya in 44 years. Today, there are 550 thousand insured employees and more than 46 thousand workplaces in Konya. Until 2003, there were only 167 km divided road in Konya. We built a 946 km divided road on it. We are completing the city hospital of Konya. It has more than a thousand beds. We will hold the tender of the subway this year. We promised the High Speed Train Station in Konya. We promised the Logistics Center. We continue to build them. We are opening the Karaman-Konya High Speed Train this year. The first part of the high-speed train project from Karaman to Mersin started. We are also studying the Kayseri-Nevşehir-Konya-Antalya railway project. The first part of the ring road is over, we have made the tender for the second stage, we have done their work. The project will be completed in the third stage and beyond. It will be a longer ring road than Ankara's ring road. 80 percent of the trips between Konya and Ankara are now made by high-speed train. ”
