Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, which continues its works for more convenient and comfortable public transportation service, has started to provide transportation service to thousand 500 people by extending public transportation route in Dicle district.
Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to provide more convenient and comfortable public transportation service. The Metropolitan Municipality has set a new 54 km long public transportation route to provide transportation services to citizens living in Sumak neighborhood where road conditions are appropriate. A total of one thousand 500 households and about 11 thousand 770 citizens will benefit from the newly opened route.
Metropolitan Municipality, Dicle District Sumak Neighborhood on the intense demands from citizens living on the group road and hamlets to cover the new route has opened. 8 has started to provide public transportation service in February with a vehicle on the route opened in order to provide the citizens living in the neighborhoods that have not been provided with public transportation services to the city centers and hospitals, education, health and commercial needs. The length of the route is 54 km.
