The General Directorate of Security reported that the Electronic Supervision Systems (EDS) in Istanbul were revised and put into operation with new additions.
In order to ensure the safety of life and property on highways, and to ensure a regular and safe traffic flow, Electronic Auditing Systems (EDS) located throughout Istanbul province were revised by making new additions to the system according to newly published procedures and principles.
In this context, in EDS; There are total 455 violation system including Red Light, Average Speed, Park, Safety Lane, Tramway, Reverse Direction, Pedestrian Way, Offset Area, Turn Prohibition and Mobile Violation Detection System.
Traffic Management Fines Decision Minutes were started to be issued on vehicle license plates that were found to be violated with the systems that are actively used in traffic inspections.
