According to the report submitted to Samsun Provincial Coordination Board; In 2017, 7 projects under 163 groups were realized, 83 of these projects were realized by Metropolitan Municipality and 80 by SASKİ. When the distribution of projects to sectors is analyzed, transportation and infrastructure projects ranked first. This was followed by environmental and landscape, culture and tourism, service buildings, social facilities, and education and sports projects.

PORT AND BACK FILLER FIELD
The construction of the port and logistics backfill area of the Metropolitan Municipality continues. By creating a port backyard on an area of approximately 50 hectares, new storage areas will be created and logistics supports will be provided in this area to meet the logistics, cold storage, warehouse needs. It was also planned as the connection point of the logistics center project. It will have a draft depth of 12 meters, a jetty to the port, and ships of 30 DTW will be able to berth.
GOLF FIELD IS PREPARING TO TOURNAMENTS
The golf course and Academy project of the Metropolitan Municipality in Atakum also hit its check in 2017. The number of pits has been increased so that it can host international tournaments in order to provide better use of the field, which has already been constructed with 9 pits. SAMSUN MUSEUM OK IN FEBRUARY
One of the important projects of the Metropolitan is the Samsun Museum Project. 75 percent of the financing of this project will be financed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and 25 percent by the Metropolitan Municipality. In 2017, a bridge connecting the Mausoleum-Kalaycılı neighborhoods was also built on Kızılırmak. The 14-kilometer bridge work that will connect Fener-Karıncak neighborhoods is also about to be completed. On Wednesday, on Yeşilırmak, the Köklük-Hacılıçay neighborhoods were combined with a 19-kilometer bridge, while the 23-kilometer bridge between Hürriyet-Kumtepe neighborhoods was completed.
BIRD FAMILY ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL
Important steps were also taken in the Kızılırmak Delta Bird Paradise Project, where Metropolitan Mayor Yusuf Ziya Yılmaz attaches great importance to Samsun's highlight in tourism. In Smasun, tags introducing Bird Paradise were placed on the main road routes, and the exteriors of the buildings on the road to Bird Paradise were painted. While the Bird Paradise wild animals first aid unit started its activities, gendarmerie control units were built in order to protect natural life and prevent poaching. In order for those who visit the Bird Paradise to enjoy horse riding, the construction of a horse shelter and a 400-vehicle trailer park in a 10 square meter closed area has also been completed.
RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND CLEAN WATER SPINNING
Providing 2017 million 9 thousand TL project support to ensure rural development in 39, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality carried out drinking water and sewerage works especially in rural areas by SASKİ. In 2017, SASKİ installed 2 million 722 thousand 305 meters of potable water mains and water pipes. Construction of 148 water tanks, 56 upgrade buildings, 22 drilling buildings and 268 valve rooms was planned. In these projects, 42.31 percent of physical realization was achieved.
