The administration of Yekaterinburg plans to provide the opportunity to pay for the transportation fee by using the bank card or a special mobile application with a contactless payment feature to the tourists visiting the 2018 World Cup matches on the bus and tram.
Pavel Vedernikov, General Manager of Informatsionnaya Set (Information Network), which introduced the electronic payment card application introduced as EKAR, made statements about the electronic payment system to the Russian press.
