It was learned that the nostalgic tram, which hasn't been working for a long time because of street arrangements in Taksim, will be put back into service on Thursday.
It is stated that the works on the nostalgic tram line on Istiklal Street in Istanbul Taksim have been completed and will be put into service again on Thursday. Construction work on the nostalgic tram line started in December 2016. While infrastructure, superstructure and landscaping were made, the tram line was renewed.
New rails supported by vibration damping elastomer (rubber) materials were installed on the Beyoglu nostalgic tramway line of 1.87.
Nostalgic Tram has been serving Istiklal Street for 26 years without interruption.
