Why is the Sivas high-speed train project delayed?

The Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Project, which was completed very long ago, was announced to the public by the politicians at the time when it was completed and put into service in 2014.

We are currently finishing 2017 and we can see that the project has not been completed.

The 2015, 2016, 2017 is now called 2018.

I claim that as long as this performance is worked out, it will only end in 2020.

One of the biggest reasons for delay is the change of contractor firms and the second is the change of Sivas YHT Railway route.

Local administrators have worked intensively to get the YHT station to the university in a way that we cannot understand why.

I would recommend two YHT stations.
The first one is the train station and the second one is the university as they say.

In short, high-speed trains all over the world from the center of the traveler leaves the center.

Another important factor of delay is the tunnel constructions between Kırıkkale-Elmadağ-Ankara and I believe that the rugged terrain will take a long time due to the geographical and physical conditions for the YHT to be able to carry passengers, so I say it will not end before 2020.

It will end and end as the political and promised in the year, it does not change the reality.
I claim that Ankara-Kayseri High Speed Line will be completed before the Ankara-Sivas High Speed Line.

As our President said in his speech in Sivas, people and institutions that delayed the project should be held accountable.

THE YHT PROJECT WILL BE CHANGED THE VISION OF SIVAS
If the Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Project is completed, the Sivas metropolitan city will become a city and will be a more livable city both economically and socially.

“It takes about 7-8 hours on the current railway line between Ankara and Sivas. Moreover, there is currently a study in favor of making it electrical and signaled. Therefore, the train does not work. With YHT, the distance between Ankara and Sivas will fall to 2 hours. YHT is currently operating between Ankara and Pendik. When the part of the YHT up to Haydarpaşa is over, the passenger leaving Sivas will arrive at Haydarpaşa in 5 hours. " Both time and money will be saved.

Sivas wants high speed train for more comfortable travel ...
