We left behind another successful year with our staff serving with love and enthusiasm day and night, summer and winter.
We have put the Kars-Tbilisi-Baku Silk Railway, which is the project of the century and the world awaited by our country, to establish peace and brotherhood bridges between East and West.
We continued the construction of high-speed, fast and conventional railway lines, signaling and electrification of existing lines at full speed.
We laid the foundation of the Konya YHT Train Station and Kars and Konya (Kayacık) logistics centers.
We opened Tepeköy-Selçuk new railway in İzmir with Kahramanmaraş (Türkoğlu) Logistics Center. We started the GAZİRAY project in Gaziantep.
With the directives of our President, we have taken important steps within the scope of the national and national production mobilization initiated by our Government.
We have succeeded in realizing the National Freight Wagon, National Diesel Engine and National Scissor Carriage projects. We started E-5000 project of the first outline national electric locomotive.
161 annual Railway history will be written in gold letters I congratulate each member of the railway family who has achieved the success of the 2017 year.
As in 2017, in 2018, we will carry out a feverish work with our Affiliates in order to provide a better transportation service to our people.
We will open Konya YHT Station and Erzurum Logistics Center with Başkentray, Etimesgut YHT Station Complex and Konya-Karaman High Speed Railway.
Gebze - Haydarpaşa, Sirkeci - which is the continuation of Marmaray with Ankara-Sivas High Speed Railway Halkalı We will have completed the suburban project by the end of the year.
In order to provide more fast, comfortable and high-security travel on the existing and planned high-speed railways, we will carry out the tender involving the domestic production of 96 YHT sets.
With these feelings and thoughts, I wish the New Year to be beneficial to our passengers, the large railway family consisting of TCDD and our Subsidiaries.
