Karaosmanoğlu: "We will take the metro in 2023"

Kocaeli Metropolitan Mayor İbrahim Karaosmanoğlu said that the tender for the Metro project between Darıca, Gebze and OSBs will be held in January 2018 and will start the voyage of the metro in 2023.

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ibrahim Karaosmanoglu, AK Party, the re-election of Darıca District President Muzaffer Bıyık and the new administration for the good fortune made the visit.

Speaking about the Metro project between Darica, Gebze and OIZs, which will be made with the own resources of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Mayor Karaosmanoğlu said, “Our project will start from the coast of Darica. With this metro project, we will be integrated in Istanbul. In our metro project, round trip will be established on a total line of 32 kilometers. Transportation between Darica, Gebze and OIZs will be provided in 12 minutes with our 19-station metro project. Its estimated budget will be 2.5 Billion TL. We will take the metro in Darıca in 100, the 2023th anniversary of the foundation of our republic. If nothing goes wrong, we will hold our tender in January. ”
