The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), a subsidiary of the General Directorate of TÜVASAŞ entrance examination announcement regarding the purchase contract engineers to be employed at the National Railway Project was published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, 399 mechanical engineers, 5 electrical-electronics engineers, two industrial engineers, metallurgy-material engineers, chemical engineers and software engineers will be recruited, subject to the Decree Law No. 6.
Candidates who will apply for the exam must meet the general requirements specified in Article 399 of the Decree Law No. 7, and have graduated from the relevant engineering departments of the faculties or higher education institutions in Turkey or abroad whose equivalence has been approved by the Higher Education Council (YÖK) as of the application deadline, They must have at least 2016 points, have a document showing that they know at least C level in English from the YDS and E-YDS exams in the last 3 years, or have an equivalent score from another internationally valid exam, which is accepted by ÖSYM in terms of language proficiency.
The written exam will be held on January 20, 2018 at Sakarya University Campus, starting from the candidate with the highest score according to the announced department quota, on the condition that they get 100 points out of 70 points and above, candidates up to 4 times the number of positions to be appointed will be invited to the oral exam.
The Exam Commission will announce the final success list based on 40 percent of the candidates' written exam grade, 3 percent of the KPSS P30 score and 30 percent of the oral exam grade.
Exam applications will end at the end of December 29th. The application form can be obtained from TÜVASAŞ's website, "www.tuvasas.com.tr".
