The accident occurred in the area of Alazlı village of the Muş-Bulanik highway. The chicken-laden minibus under the direction of Eyüp Güleç on the way from Muş to Bulanik was caught under the train at the level crossing in Alazlı village. Doğan Erkoç, who was in the vehicle in the accident, died in a disastrous manner at the scene. Driver Eyüp Güleç and his sons Fırat and Enes Güleç were injured. However, Fırat Güleç could not be saved despite all the efforts of the doctors. It was stated that Eyüp and Enes Güleç, who were taken to surgery, maintained their serious health.
Gendarmerie teams who arrived at the scene removed the body of Doğan Erkoç, who died in the accident, to the morgue. After the investigation at the accident site, it was reported that an investigation into the accident was initiated while the train continued on its way.
