Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Aziz Kocaoğlu invited representatives of the industry and business world, as well as the automotive and supplier industry sectors, to invite them to a joint meeting. The meeting, which also invited Izmir deputies and the provincial presidents of the political parties that have a group in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, has a single agenda item: Choosing İzmir for the production of domestic cars.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu asked for a “unity of power” in the city to use the preference for İzmir in “domestic automobile production”. Calling “act together” to the representatives of the İzmir industry and business, as well as the automotive and supplier industry sectors, Mayor Kocaoğlu also invited Izmir deputies and provincial heads of political parties with a group in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. In the invitation letter, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality said, “It is undoubtedly our common wish to use the preference for İzmir in the 'domestic automobile production' which we believe will be one of the most important moves of the Turkish industry in recent years. The transformation of our thoughts from desire to reality will only be possible if we join hands and act fast ”.
