Neighborhoods such as Larende, Sümer and Yenişehir, which have been living apart from the city center due to the railway line for many years, come to life with the underpass project implemented in cooperation with Karaman Municipality and TCDD. Mayor Ertuğrul Çalışkan made examinations in the area where the work continues intensely. Mayor Çalışkan was accompanied by AK Party Provincial Chairman Mehmet Er and Municipal Council Member Mustafa Sarı.
Providing information about the general course of the work of the authorities, President Çalışkan said:
“We are bringing another very important investment to Karaman. As a municipality, we provide all the necessary support to the Larende Underpass Project, which we carry out with the General Directorate of TCDD. Studies are mostly completed. As soon as possible, the underpass will start to serve Karaman. In this way, our Larende, Sümer and Yenişehir neighborhoods will come to life. "
