Trambus Report from MOTAŞ

Motas General Directorate, which was implemented for the first time of 2015 years in Malatya in April published a report on TRAMBUS System in Turkey.

MOTAŞ General Directorate, which made a statement about the report prepared compared to diesel fueled vehicles, stated that it was realized with the expectation that it would be more economical and least harm to the environment when establishing the Trambus System. Imiz We have achieved the benefits we expect from the system. The system is more economical and environmentally friendly than other public transport systems. Diesel-fueled vehicles, depending on the type and age of the carbon emissions to the environment with different emissions zero-emission Trambus, nature does not release carbon. Our people express that they are extremely satisfied with the system. It won the appreciation of the Malatians with its comfort, quiet operation, no harm to the environment and economic. The satisfaction of our passengers is reflected in the questionnaires we made and also reflected in the feedbacks to the Call Center and the Metropolitan Municipality Call Center ız.

Eco-Friendly Trambus

The data obtained from the comparison of diesel fueled vehicles from 2015 to 2017, which took place in August, was included in the report. The number of voyages carried out with the same number of passengers, the amount of energy spent and the number of kilometers traveled have been calculated and the rate of carbon dioxide released into the environment has been found. Here is the report in question:

System Data

Trambus business data received between April 2015 and August 2017 Table 1.1 'are also shown. In the same table, there are information about the number of kilometers and number of voyages to be made in case of continued diesel buses.

CO2 emission does not occur due to the fact that fossil fuel is not used during consumption in electric vehicles.

The carbon dioxide emission of a diesel vehicle burning 100 liters of fuel per 5 km; CO2 Emission = (5 lt × 2640 gr CO2) / (100 km) = 132 gr CO2 diesel / km
