During the construction of the high-speed train near Barbaros district in Demirtaş district of Osmangazi District of Bursa, the collapse occurred during the pier installation of the viaduct on the columns.
The collapse took place at around 17.20 in the evening, during the scaffolding of one of the columns carrying the viaduct on the Bursa high-speed train line, which is under construction near Osmangazi District Demirtaş location Barbaros neighborhood. Many ambulances and AFAD teams were dispatched to the scene.
Osman Demirci (37) was killed by the fire brigade of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality.
An injured worker, who was hit by an iron in his chest, was taken to the hospital with an ambulance and was treated.
