Tender for Narlıdere Subway

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality is going to an international tender on 7.2 December for the construction of the 20 kilometer F.Altay-Narlıdere Metro line. The line will be crossed with a "deep tunnel" in order not to adversely affect daily life during construction works.

Extending the Izmir subway from Evka 3 to Fahrettin Altay, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality will now transport the line to Narlıdere and increase the total length of the metro line to 26. The tender for the metro line, which will be crossed by a ın deep tunnel indeki in order not to affect the daily life and social life on the route, will take place on 20 December 2017.

International tender

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality signed a loan agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the F.Altay - Narlıdere line, which will consist of 7.2 stations with a length of 7 kilometers, and completed the necessary procedures for the tender of the construction and went on to announce an international tender. The first stage of the 2-stage tender will be held on 20 December 2017. In the first stage, technical proposals will be presented; as a result of the necessary evaluation and financial proposals will be taken to stage 2. Following the completion of the tender phase, the construction of the line is planned to begin in early 2018.

F.Altay makNarlıdere line consisting of 7 stations, Balçova, Çağdaş, Dokuz Eylül University Hospital, Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Narlıdere, Siteler and Kaymakamlık stations are located.
