Having made expropriation of 75 million 500 thousand liras for the Homeros Boulevard section, the Metropolitan Municipality has made expropriation of 26 million lira for the Buca Tunnel and 10 million TL for the viaducts so far. In the 7-kilometer project, while the bored piling works on the tunnel and the viaduct construction on the one hand, the official groundbreaking ceremony will be held in the coming days.

Within the scope of this large investment, which is critical for city traffic, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, for uninterrupted transportation from Buca Homeros Boulevard to the bus station in Bornova; At the intersection of 2.5 km double tube deep tunnel, 280 and 920 meters long viaducts, at the intersection of Kemalpaşa Avenue and Kamil Tunca Boulevard, 2 vehicle underpasses and 1 vehicle overpass for the ring road bus terminal connection.
