Izmir Metropolitan Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu met with 47 muhtars in Buca in the second event of the "Mukhtars Infection", which he started in Karabağlar. Listening to the problems of the headmen one by one, Mayor Kocaoğlu announced that the project of the Buca Metro was completed and its foundation will be laid in 2018.

During the meeting attended by Buca Mayor Levent Piriştina and Metropolitan Municipality bureaucrats, 47 muhtars in the district expressed their problems and demands. Speaking at the opening part of the meeting, Mayor Kocaoğlu stated that they tried to fulfill all the shortcomings of the city without mentioning the work of the metropolitan municipality, and that the municipalities of the district also gave financial support to their projects.

Pointing out that the biggest problem of Buca is traffic congestion in the district, Büyükşehir Mayor Kocaoğlu said, “The project of the Buca subway that we planned from Tınaztepe, Çamlıkule to Üçyol is over. We will lay the foundation in 2018. ” President Aziz Kocaoğlu stated that expropriations continue on Homeros Boulevard and said, “We will pass through the military zone and the cemetery through the tunnel. We made tender and place delivery. We also delivered the tender and place for the viaduct to be connected to the Bus Station and the Ring Road from the region we know as the Jewish cemetery in Altındağ ”.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu said that they took action to make Şirinyer Park, which is located in the center of Buca, suitable for the district. Reminding that they have been dealing with cases for a long time with Buca Municipality, Mayor Kocaoğlu said, “Now that problem is over. We will make Buca's meeting point, ”he said.

Asphalt capacities increased
Reminding that the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality served 2004 districts in an area of ​​100 hectares until 9, Mayor Kocaoğlu emphasized that 1 million 200 thousand hectares, 30 districts, 600 villages and 1294 neighborhoods are within the responsibility areas. Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu said that while investments such as İZBAN, Metro, sea transportation, opening of new roads and arteries for transportation problems are being made more urgent in solving infrastructure problems, they have focused on newly connected districts.
Expressing that they have set up a construction site with an asphalt production and parquet facility with a capacity of 160 tons per hour in Bakırçay and 240 tons per hour in Küçük Menderes, Mayor Kocaoğlu continued as follows:
“We have shown the stance and understanding of service of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in newly connected places. Due to geographical conditions, we bought snow-fighting vehicles in the last 9 districts. Since the weather conditions are severe in the winter months, we will gather all our teams at the center and eliminate the deficiencies to the extent permitted by the weather conditions.
