Emphasizing that MUSIAD Konya has undertaken many projects that will shed light on the future of the city, Mayor Okka said, “We are finally shooting the first excavation regarding our Logistics Center project, which we have been working on for many years and turned into a state project. This step has made the MUSIAD Konya family very pleased ”.

During our visits in Ankara with the opinion leaders of Konya, we demanded the expansion of the Logistics Center. Then, the TCDD revised its work and decided to increase the Logistics Center area to 1 million square meters and then to 1 million 350 thousand square meters. In this process, our Logistics Committee has put its signature under important works. We organized numerous meetings and conferences. To give an example; Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in Konya period with the participation of Turkey, we realized the brain Logistics Consultation Meeting. Later, with the support of MEVKA, we published the TR TR 52 Konya- Karaman Region Logistics Strategy Plan Preliminary Report '. We held the Konya-Karaman-Mersin Logistics Meeting with the participation of Economy Minister Zafer Çağlayan, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, Mersin, Konya, Karaman Governors and deputies, Mayors and businessmen of this 3 province. We continued to work for the realization of our project, not limited to these meetings. The process was longer than we expected. This process did not lead us to despair. Curiously, the news came on December 2016. The tender of Konya Logistics Center, which will contribute greatly to our city, was realized. The Logistics Center Project, the foundation of which will be laid, will increase the exports of not only Konya but also all cities in our region.
