Bayram Lays Metro Project in Gebze

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General İlhan Bayram made a return visit to the Mayor of Gebze Municipality, Adnan Köşker. Within the framework of the visit, a detailed meeting was held with Gebze Municipality about the projects to be carried out. The work on the Gebze-Darica Metro Line project was also discussed.

MEETING FOR THE PROJECTS

In the meeting held in the meeting hall of the Municipality of Gebze Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Ilhan Bayram and the Mayor of Gebze Adnan Koshker Deputy Secretary General Mustafa Altay, Park Garden and Green Areas Department President Cenan Turan, Transportation Department Ayşegül Yalçınkaya was also present. Secretary General İlhan Bayram was given a briefing of the projects related to Gebze. Detailed information about the Metro project was given in a presentation.

Mayor of Gebze said that they have been working in harmony with Metropolitan Municipality Adnan Köşker. As Gebze Municipality, we work in great harmony with the Metropolitan Municipality. GEBZE-DARICA METRO LINE PROJECT

İlhan Bayram, Secretary General of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, who started his speech by stating that Gebze is an important district of Kocaeli, said, “Gebze is one of the distinguished districts of Kocaeli. We, as Metropolitan Municipality, continue our investments without slowing down. It continues its activities in Gebze Municipality without delay. The preliminary projects of the Gebze-Darıca Metro Line, which is about 15,5 km long and has 12 stations, were completed about 5 months ago and approved by the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments (AYGM) affiliated to the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications. In the project in question, the final projects for implementation are at the stage of completion and after the necessary tender preparations, it is aimed to undertake the construction tender of the Gebze-Darıca Metro line in the first half of 2018. ” said.
