Balıkesir Chamber of Industry's work on Gökköy Logistics Center in the Organized Industrial Zone started to bear fruit. With the efforts of the Chairman of the Board of Industry, İsmail Uğur and the OSB management, Günaydın Group, the strongest company of the sector, opened its third railway logistics center to Balıkesir Logistics Village, whose construction was completed and the first container services started. The group will have established 2 railway logistics centers within 4 years with its new investment.
Pointing out that Balıkesir Logistics Center is one of the most important investments in the sector, Günaydın Group Board Member Erol Günaydın said, “As a group, we continue our investments on the railroad while celebrating our 50th anniversary. We operate in all processes of logistics. We have reached a leading position in our region in our journey in the sector starting from the highway, continuing by seaway, airway and finally railway ”. Mayor Uğur stated that with the commissioning of Balıkesir Logistics Village, a serious breakthrough was made and actions in terms of both export and import would increase in August.
