Public Transportation Free in LYS Exam in Istanbul: Students and officials who will take the Undergraduate Placement Exams (LYS) to be held on 10 -11-17- 18 June 2017 will benefit from public transportation in Istanbul for free.
The decision of the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in May was moved to the Municipal Assembly as a joint proposal of AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Temel Başalan and CHP Group Vice President Ertuğrul Gülsever.
The proposal, which includes the free transportation of public transportation vehicles to students and staff in the LYS exams, was accepted as a ve Proposal Decision ın and unanimously adopted by the Assembly Members. It was stated that the decision was taken to allow the students and staff to reach the exam locations easily.
According to the decision; Students and officials who will take the Undergraduate Placement Exams (LYS) between 2017 - 10 - 11 - 17 June 18 within the scope of ÖSYS, by presenting their exam entry or attendant documents between 2017 - 07.00; IETT Buses, Bus Inc. Buses, Private Public Buses, Metrobus, Nostalgic Tram and Tunnel vehicles, City Lines Ferry, Private Marine Engines, Tram, Metro, Light Metro, Funicular, Cable Car and Kadıköy Moda will use Nostalgic Tram for free.
