Babadağ will take flight by cable car: With the Babadağ Cable Car Project, which will be completed at the end of 2018 in Fethiye, 500 thousand vacationers are expected to reach the top of Babadağ at an altitude of 1965. From the summit, which is shown as the number one paragliding center of Europe, Fethiye, Fethiye, Seydikemer, Dalaman and Ortaca, and Kaş's districts of Antalya can be seen, while Rhodes Island of Greece can be seen. Babadağ Cable Car Project tender was made in April and Kırtur Limited Şirketi won the tender. The $ 30 million project is planned to be completed by the end of 2018.

The starting station of the cable car to be installed on the south-west slope of Babadağ will be built on Yasdam Avenue, and the end station will be built adjacent to the 1700 meter runway at Babadağ summit. Visitors will reach the track in 6-7 minutes. With the implementation of the project, 121 thousand flights, which were recorded as records last year, are expected to exceed 200 thousand. FTSO and FGB company Chairman Akif Arıcan said that they expect half a million holidaymakers to visit Babadağ by cable car every year.
