Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ahmet Arslan stated that the number of voyages will be increased from 17 to 219 on weekdays with the completion of the infrastructure works that have been going on for 333 months in Marmaray. Minister Arslan, in his statement, stated that due to the works carried out by the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments (AYGM) within the scope of the Marmaray Project, the train frequency is mandatory at 17-minute intervals.
Indicating that the works started by AYGM on December 16, 2015 were successfully completed on April 28, Arslan said that the Marmaray flights will be increased to 333 from tomorrow.
Arslan also gave information about Marmaray's weekdays and weekends. He said that the 333 train service will be made on weekdays and the trains will be serving at 07.00-10.00 and 16.00-20.00 hours.
