Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication Ahmet Arslan stated that they will connect Eastern Anatolia and the Eastern Black Sea Region with a train line and said, “The train load going from Karstan to the west must also go to the Black Sea. Therefore, we will connect Kırıkkale, Çorum, Samsun, and Erzincan to Trabzon,” he said.
Minister Arslan, in his speech to the representatives of non-governmental organizations gathered in Kars, during the AK Party governments told the services made to Kars and the country.

Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway to open in June
Arslan pointed out that the train load going from Kars to the west should also go to the Black Sea, adding:
“The train load going west from Kars should also go to the Black Sea. Therefore, we will make a connection to Kırıkkale, Çorum, Samsun and from Erzincan to Trabzon. We will build railway networks descending from Erzincan to the south, Sivas to the south, namely Elazig, Malatya, Diyarbakir and Mardin. These are complementary to each other. These are very important for us and our country. One of the most important rings of these projects is the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) Railway Project so that a train departing from London can go to Beijing. This project is very important for our region and Kars. Hopefully, we open it to business in June. ”
Stating that they have built logistics centers in many parts of the country, Arslan stated that Kars has a big share in the project with 94 million 300 thousand liras.
Istanbul New Airport
