Foreign Trade Training from UTIKAD to TUIK Representatives

Representatives from the Foreign Trade Training TSI UTIKAD: International Transport and Logistics Service Providers Association UTIKAD, Turkey Statistical Institute Foreign Trade Education gave administrators. With the Foreign Trade Training given by Akif Geçim, one of the UTİKAD instructors, it is aimed to maximize the process of compiling the International Service Trade Statistics, which is being studied by TURKSTAT.

20 representatives from different levels of TUIK participated in the training organized in Ankara. TURKSTAT Head of Annual Business Statistics Department At the end of the training, Şenol Bozdağ is planning to organize new training seminars.

UTİKAD and TURKSTAT cooperated to reach the most efficient statistical information on foreign trade. Foreign Trade Education, UTIKAD trainer and Ekol Logistics Special Projects, Sales and Business Development Manager Akif Gecim organized in Ankara on April Tuesday by the TURKSTAT in order to maximize the process of compiling the International Service Trade Statistics. To further improve the process of compiling the International Trade Statistics, 11 representatives from different levels of TurkStat participated in the training organized in order to ask questions more clearly and accurately about transportation, logistics and other services. Head of Annual Business Statistics Department of TURKSTAT Ş. Şenol Bozdağ participated in the training; Basic Concepts in Foreign Trade, Documents Used in Foreign Trade, Types of Transport and Documents Used in Transport, Delivery Types (Incoterms), Overview of Payment Types in International Legislation, Advance Payment, Goods Against Goods, Cash Against Documents, Acceptance Credit Operations, Letters of Credit and Transport Insurance Types covered topics.

Participants were also explained with the examples of Export Work Flow Procedures and Workflows in Import. At the end of the interactive and productive education, where the questions of TURKSTAT representatives were answered, it was decided to plan new training seminars in the coming period.
