Investigation of recent escalator failures in Bursaray stations revealed that the problem was caused by deliberate pushing of emergency buttons. It was observed that the children intentionally stopped the system by pressing the emergency situation, while another source of the fault was sitting on the hand bands of the children. It was determined that the weight on the hand bands caused the motor mines.
In order for the escalators to work in a healthy manner, all passengers are asked to refrain from such incidents and to inform the officials who caused these incidents, while those who prevent the operation of the escalators will be penalized under the Law on Misdemeanors.
