Message from Minister Arslan for International Women's Day: The place and importance of the family in Turkish society and women in the family is great. We have seen this at every stage of our history. Nene Hatunlar, Black Fatmas, Halide Edip played unforgettable roles in the struggle for independence.
After that we want to reach our targets women in Turkey in the way of new important responsibilities in this process.
That is why during our AK Party governments, as we have in our history, we have continued to struggle to be a model country where our women can play a more active, more participatory role in all aspects of life and that they can benefit from public rights equally and fairly.
In particular, we take historical steps to prevent violence against women, gender discrimination, and to bring girls and women into education.
I believe that, then our women's social status and acquired by stronger gains than Turkey's future bright, it will be more prosperous and more prosperous.
On this occasion, I congratulate International Women's Day of the honorable, ambitious, honorable women of our country.
