Tram Coming From Eminönü to Eyüp: The investments of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in Eyüp were opened. Metropolitan Mayor Kadir Topbaş gave the good news that a tram line will be built from Eminönü to Eyüp and cross the estuary.
Eyüp Mayor Remzi Aydın participated in the mass opening ceremony of the investments realized in Eyüp with the support of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM). Speaking at the ceremony, President Remzi Aydın said, “The brand investment line in municipality started in 1994 and continues increasingly. Today, a very precious ring is added to this fertility. Eyüp Sultan deserves this satisfaction. ”
The ceremony was held in the garden of Eyüp İSKİ Branch. The ceremony was attended by Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Kadir Topbaş, Eyüp Mayor Remzi Aydın, AK Party Istanbul Provincial Mayor Selim Temurci, AK Party Eyüp District President Süleyman Aykaç, İSKİ General Manager Fatih Turan, representatives of NGOs and many citizens.
GIANT INVESTMENTS ARE LIVING IN EYÜP
In the ceremony, Eyüp İSKİ Service Building, Eyüp Ağaçlı, Akpınar and Çiftalan Neighborhoods Waste Water and Storm Water Line Construction, Eyüp Akpınar Biological Waste Water Treatment Plant and Kemerburgaz District Drinking Water Line Construction were inaugurated. At the ceremony, the construction of the Waste Water and Stormwater Line of the Islambey District, the construction of Kemerburgaz Waste Water and the construction of the Islambey Stormwater Tunnel were laid.
Speaking at the ceremony, President Kadir Topbaş stated that they have invested 98 billion pounds in Istanbul since the day they came to office. Istanbul no longer has water problems. Thanks to our advanced biological treatment facilities, no waste water is poured into our seas. We continue our local administration logic and understanding that our President started as the city's mayor in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality period. We have made significant investments in all areas from infrastructure to transportation. The future of the metro could not be imagined in Eyüp. Two metro lines are now passing through Eyüp. Today, we have just started Eminonu from the beach along the Golden Horn to serve the tram to Eyup. Tender and place deliveries were made, started and continued. " said.
Eyüp Mayor Remzi Aydın stated in his speech that he was very satisfied and this satisfaction will continue, “Because the line of investment in the municipality, which started in 1994, continues to increase. Today, a very precious public is added to these investments. Eyüp Sultan deserves and expects this satisfaction. Because our Eyüp Sultan is an ancient district. Therefore, its infrastructure is a district that requires a very special intervention. We have such a feature, we have priority. It is not only an ancient district, but also with its increasing population; It is a very dynamic district with its line that leaves title problems and zoning problems behind, and its district is very variable.
