Meryemana ropeway project is awaiting the approval of UNESCO: The Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Veysel Eroğlu, who visited Selçuk within the scope of the Izmir Program, gave good news about the important projects planned in the district.

Eroğlu said that the third one was the Ephesus Antique Canal Project and all the works were ready. Selcuk Mayor Zeynel Bakici said that they were happy for their support to Selcuk, especially President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, the Minister of Forestry and Water Veysel Eroglu and thanked all the Ministers for their support.
After the speeches, peanuts and walnut trees were planted to distribute the plots and farmers were given certificates.
