10 Piece New Public Bus Launched in Karamanda

10 New Public Buses Entered Service in Karaman: Karaman Municipality put 10 new public buses into service. Mayor Ertuğrul Çalışkan; "We doubled the total number of vehicles in our municipality in the last two years," he said.

Karaman Municipality bought 10 new public buses that will make a great contribution to city transportation. Thus, the municipality, which provides transportation services with a total of 23 buses, increased this number to 33. Karaman Municipality put the newly purchased buses into service today (14.02.2016) with a ceremony held in Democracy Square on July 15. Besides Mayor Ertuğrul Çalışkan, members of the AK Party organization, municipal council members and citizens attended the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mayor Ertuğrul Çalışkan explained the investments and services of the municipality in general. President Çalışkan made the following statements in his speech; “As Karaman Municipality, we have brought together many investments and services with our citizens in the last 3 years. In this context, we continue to serve our nation. When we look at the public investments and the investments of our municipality in recent years, Karaman is experiencing one of its brightest periods.

We are realizing important projects about transportation. With significant investments such as high-speed train project and airport project, Karaman will become an important city in a few years. On the other hand, we are taking important steps in transportation with our lower and overpass projects.

In addition to the 2011 buses purchased in 10, we added 2015 in 13 and 10 more this year, increasing the number of public buses to 33. We provide a better quality transportation service to our citizens with our comfortable buses with technological equipment.

80 141 Car 2 Per Year

Mayor Ertuğrul Çalışkan stated that the number of vehicles owned by the Municipality of Karaman for 80 years is 141; “We bought 2 new vehicles in 101 years. In other words, we almost doubled the number of vehicles purchased in 80 years. "We will continue to buy new vehicles if necessary in line with the needs of our city."
