Mayor Çelik at the Ski School: Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Çelik, who went to Erciyes on the weekends whenever he had the opportunity from intense studies, saw the investment for our children as important as physical investments. Mayor Çelik, who visited the Ski School of Metropolitan Municipality Sports Inc. in Erciyes, met with the little athletes and their families.
Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Çelik visited the Ski School of Spor A.Ş. in Erciyes with his wife İkbal Çelik. President Çelik, with the kids eating their lunch sohbet and asked questions about the education they received.
"WE MUST RAISE ATHLETES AROUND THE WORLD"
Stating that 7 students between the ages of 15-300 are being educated, President Çelik said, "If we start education at this age, we can make Kayseri's name known to the world".
Meeting with parents as well as students at the Ski School, President Mustafa Çelik heard praise from the families about the education provided. The families thanked Mayor Çelik for providing such an opportunity for children and expressed the importance of enabling everyone to do an expensive sport such as skiing.
Stating that we need to train athletes around the world, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Çelik said, “Physical investments are already being made; but investment in people is even more important. We need to raise children as healthy generations. In addition, if we want to make Erciyes a world-class winter tourism center, we need to train very good athletes, ”he said.
