FETÖ Officers in TCDD Did Not Accept Accusations: Engineers in TCDD, who were arrested within the scope of the Fethullah Terrorist Organization / Parallel State Structuring (FETÖ / PDY) investigation, and teachers Mustafa Arıkan did not accept the charges at the hearing.
Hüdayi Yorgun, mechanical engineer in TCDD Wagon Maintenance Workshop accused of being a member of FETÖ, Trials of TCDD High Speed Train (YHT) Maintenance and Mechanical Engineer Abdülkadir Korkmaz and TCDD Training Center teacher Mustafa Arıkan to be tried. It started in the Court.

The defendant Abdulkadir Korkmaz in his defense, refused to accept the accusations requested. Korkmaz said:
“I grew up in the orphanage. I became a member of institutions accepted by the state. Material evidence of crimes has not been established. Although I did not participate in the coup, I did not understand that it was included in the indictment. I am from Mardin. My family is a protector. We have killed many martyrs. We are faced with the threat of the PKK. The bones of many of my family are whining with my martyred father and my 2 uncles. Since I was a member of the union, I was shown as a terrorist organization. Being a member of unions and associations has been encouraged by the state. It is not possible to describe this as a crime. The membership fee was paid by the government. Therefore, the state cannot question the crime it committed. It is not a crime to deposit money in banks. The bank continued on the dates I deposited. If the state had seen a crime, it would have stopped its activities at that time. ”
'IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO KNOW THAT THE STATE DOES NOT KNOW'
Hüdayi Yorgun, who is claimed to be the brother of TCDD, said that he was not good with technology and heard the name of the program "ByLock" for the first time. Yorgun said, “I have been a member of different unions throughout my life. It is impossible for me to know that the state does not know. I have had an account with Bank Asya since 1996. Money transaction to the bank is a banking activity. It is not forgiveness. It was an interest-free banking. That's why I chose it. I am not the brother of TCDD and other institutions. I have been under arrest for about 4 months. The prisoner is not a measure, but a punishment given to me and my family. I demand my release, ”he said.
'TOY WEAPON HAS NOT BEEN NOW'
TCDD Education Center teacher Mustafa Arıkan also demanded his release from the court. Arıkan said, “Unionization is a right. My union membership was encouraged by paying my dues by the state. I resigned from the union at the end of June 2016. I did not know he had a connection with FETÖ. I opened an account with Bank Asya in 2014. My aim here is to be interest free. I thought that if these banks and associations were a criminal element, the state would close it. I did not stay in their dormitories or homes. SohbetI did not participate. Eskişehir 2nd High Criminal Court did not accept the evacuation requests of the defendants. The delegation postponed the hearing until 2 March 2017 in order to complete the deficiencies in the file.
