World's Highest Capacity Ropeway is Made in Austria

It is stated that the cable car, which is under construction in Sölden, Austria, is the highest capacity cable car in the world. (Turizmdebusabah news) Sölden raises the infrastructure constructions of mountain cable cars several levels at once. With the new Giggijochbahn ropeway, Sölden offers the world's highest capacity, 10-person cabin and single-rope ropeway to its guests. This project is a masterpiece in ropeway technology and an architectural monument. Above all, there is still nothing better in terms of the comfort it offers to passengers.

The Giggijoch cable car from Sölden's ski region, which has plenty of sunshine in Austria, pioneers new dimensions in terms of power and comfort with its capacity of carrying 4 thousand 500 passengers per hour. A qualitative quantum leap awaits passengers from the starting station (1.362 meters) in the valley to the summit station (2.283 meters). Spacious areas, air and light, large ten-person cabins, large and well-equipped walking areas, significantly shorter travel times, tremendous smooth ride, leveling and barrier-free boarding and landing routes are well thought out.

NEW DIMENSIONS

The elegant entrance station, which has a southern entrance and is quite remarkable, consists of eight ticket offices. The station also features a 13 meter-level box-office box with the most modern information technology related to the ski area. On the top of this hall is a boarding platform rising up in the air. There are two escalators and two elevators from the parking level. The boarding platform can also be accessed via the parking lot and the runway connection.

QUICK TRANSPORT WRITTEN JOURNEY

The new Giggijochbahn cable car takes its passengers to the ski area at maximum speed without waiting in the queue. This cable car moves at a speed of 5,5 m / s. It has 4.500 cabins carrying 134 people per hour and a very fine boarding system. The cruise is also very comfortable after the journey begins. This system is unrivaled with its 20 centimeter wider seats and extremely smooth movement as it is in other similar ten-person cabins. This new ropeway technology, which Austrian company Doppelmayr used for the first time on the Giggijochbahn cable car, shows itself here. The trip, with 26 completely new erected support legs and a height of approximately 2.650 meters across an oblique distance of 920 meters, takes only 9 minutes. The entire route was illuminated for the safety of the guests and equipped with cameras and speakers.

HEMZEMIN BINİŞ

When they arrive at the summit station building, passengers experience the advantages of the latest technology. The design of the boarding and landing section was carried out for the first time in "bone form". Concretely, this means: Like the wagons of a subway train, ten cabins stand in a single order in the adjacent order and wait for the passengers to get on and off. This "level walk in" (Level Walk In) provides comfortable, stress-free and unobstructed access to tracks and ski lifts. The exact dimensions of the station are only evident after arrival. The foil-covered steel construction includes not only the station plane and the gondola station above it, but also a sports store and a ski warehouse, each approximately 250 m2 wide. A ski day cannot start more comfortably than this. You can easily get off the train with winter shoes, go to the station by escalator or elevator, put on heated ski shoes, take your skis and go on the road.

A RENOVATED ARCHITECTURE STRUCTURE FOR THE SKI OF KAYA

A successful collaboration already proved itself in the new construction of the Giggijochbahn cable car. The architect Johann Obermoser designed the new Giggijochbahn cable car after the Gaislachkoglbahn cable car and the ice Q gourmet restaurant at the Gaislachkogl mountain. In this way, Obermoser has signed a new architectural monument of the Sölden ski region. The Obermoser Architecture Office built the building body in a very eye-catching way. The boarding platform was upgraded to 13 meters and a station concept with the smallest footprint possible was created on the plot. The elegant, tower-shaped massive building ropeway also houses the technical installation, and seems to be a monument to the far away. The elevated boarding platform disappears behind the lane with the view of the Ötztal Alps. The sub-base of the platform that extends out of the building body gives a feeling of lightness with its mirror-like surface. Landscape effects can be transformed into different atmospheres with light effects. In all of them, great importance is placed on the service and comfort factor. The two escalators also provide access to the boarding section, which is directly linked to the ski slope and the parking lot.

SUSTAINABLE ENERGY MANAGEMENT

According to the general energy management principles of the Sölden mountain lifts, the start and peak stations are heated in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner. The starting station has a water heating pump. The hill station also has a heat recovery system. With heat exchanger, two air heating pumps, concrete, in-body pipe system and air heating system is in the service of environmental protection.

OLD TELEPHONE LIVES SECOND SPRING AT HOCHOETZ

Giggijoch cable car, which brings its visitors to the new ski area, is the third generation of the ropeways located here. The cable car before it carried skiers from Sölden on April 37.000, 17, after about 2016 operating hours. However, this was the last time for the tourists of Sölden. The system, which has been in service since 1998, will be back in service in the Hochoetz ski area from next winter. Thus, it will increase the capacity of the ski region by taking on the duty of the Ochsengartenbahn cable car.
