İZBAN personnel stated that they will not give up their decision to strike until their conditions improve.

"I'll wear wings"

A citizen named Mehmet Tura, who wanted to get on İZBAN from Alsancak to go to work in Çiğli district, said, “I was going to work, I was left in the middle. I do not understand what strike this is. My workplace is in Çiğli. I guess I'll go to work wearing wings and flying. There is no other way. I just learned it was a strike. I didn't know because I didn't have the internet. Laborers may be right. What happens is to the worker, to the laborer. Therefore, poor citizens like us are left in the middle. ”A citizen said,“ I have been on the road since 06.30:XNUMX. I'm late for my job. How is this the municipality? " he reacted.

"Everyone should get their rights"

Stating that he uses İZBAN every day to go to his workplace in Gaziemir, Ali Gören said, “I will go to work by bus, I was not aware of the strike. I didn't know how to go, now I found out. I learned the reasons for the strike from the workers here. I told them everyone should get their rights, ”he said.

"I'm brooding about how I'm going"

Canan Akkan, who expressed that he has no knowledge of the strike, said:

“We do not have to follow the internet all the time. It would be nice if information was given. I was going to work in Menderes. Now I am thinking about how to go. It is a system that already has many problems. We always come late. And as such, we stayed here. I think I will go to Üçyol and take a minibus from there. My whole day is ruined. "

"They strike for their rights"

Lawyer Lale Özberk stated that she was surprised to see that there was a decision to strike, ” Karşıyaka The most comfortable way to go to the courthouse was İZBAN for me. I am disappointed but employees are striking for their rights. Employees should be given their rights. Now I will probably take a taxi ”he said.

"We will never give up"

Ahmet Güler, the chief representative at the workplace and a mechanic at Alsancak Station, gave the following information about the strike decision:

“As of June 6, we started our collective agreement negotiations. We have shown all our good will in order not to victimize the people of Izmir. We met with our employer many times with 304 union members, but despite all our good will, our meetings were not responded. It is said that there is a 15 percent offer made proportionally and reported to the public, but this offer means that we receive wages at the poverty line due to our low salaries. 104 of our friends still receive the minimum wage. We would not want to victimize the people of Izmir. We see 300 thousand passengers every day, we carry them. Unfortunately, they prompted us to strike. We will not give up. The wages we receive are very low compared to the work we do. As long as it takes, we will be behind this business, and we will never give up. "

"We work with the minimum wage"

İZBAN employees also; He said that drivers, mechanics, technicians and toll booths work for the minimum wage, and nearly 200 workers work for wages slightly above the minimum wage. Noting that the bonus for İZBAN partners, which is over 100 days in other institutions, is between 70 days in İZBAN and up to 300 TL in other institutions, İZBAN employees said, “Fuel assistance up to 50 TL in other institutions is 80 TL in İZBAN. While those who work in the workplace in other institutions receive seniority increase for each year they work, the wages of those who are employed in İZBAN after 270 are 4 TL less for each year. While shift premiums of up to 2010 percent are applied to employees working in shifts in other institutions, there is no shift premium in İZBAN. He said, "The lowest amount of TL 15 in other institutions was offered to the occupational group with the highest wage in İZBAN."

"The share we get from the company's turnover should be increased by 0,64 percent"

İZBAN personnel who claim that the employer does not observe the market conditions, said:

“As the Railways Labor Union, we prepared an offer by taking into account the fees of sister institutions and even below 15 percent from them. Even though we didn't want to, we were brought to the brink of strike by our employer. We said that signing a contract that will make the employees happy will increase the efficiency of İZBAN. What we want is to increase our share of the company's turnover by 0,64 percent. In İZBAN, which carries 350 thousand passengers a day, there is a difference of 304 thousand 53 TL per month for 111 workers between our request and our employer's offer.
