Şereflikoçhisar rail to facilitate the sale of salt

Şereflikoçhisar will facilitate the sale of salt by rail: Şereflikoçhisar Mayor Ferda Polat and AK Party District President Sait Başaran announced that Şereflikoçhisar will be provided with a railway.
Polat, in his statement to journalists, stated that Şereflikoçhisar, which has an annual load capacity of 4 million tons, is the fruit of the works initiated to bring the railway.
Polat stated that the Evren and Şereflikoçhisar routes would be connected to the Yozgat, Kırşehir, Aksaray and Ulukışla lines, and the General Director of State Railways. İsa Apaydınsaid they visited.
Polat said, “Our district governor Erol Karaömeroğlu, AK Party District President Sait Başaran and I visited Apaydın and consulted about the railway project. After the feasibility studies carried out by the State Railways, it was decided that the railway line should pass through Şereflikoçhisar instead of making a fishbone for our district. ” he spoke.
Polat said that the railway line passing through Şereflikoçhisar is more convenient due to the salt plains, armored military units and other transportation activities in the district, and that the railway tender will be held in 2017.
AK Party District President Sait Başaran said, “With the addition of Şereflikoçhisar directly to this project, 20% of the total load capacity will be covered by Şereflikoçhisar.” said.
It was announced that the General Directorate of State Railways will be able to clarify where the railway will go after the survey work to be carried out in 2017.
