Prefabricated Ready-to-Go Elastic Level Crossings

Elastic Level Crossings: It has been 03.07.2013 years since the “Regulation on Measures to be Taken at Railway Level Crossings and Implementation Principles” was published in the Official Gazette dated 28696 and issue 3. As specified in article f) of this regulation, the ground of the railway level crossings is in a way that the road vehicles can pass easily. composite or a rubber material.
In the tenders made so far, manufacturing has been made according to the technical specifications written in accordance with these coating types. Level crossings that pass heavy loads on both railway and highway sides are covered with composite or rubber systems applied on them without disrupting the existing ballasted system. These applications, which are made without ballast and without correcting the ground conditions, are actually applied in the European Union only in places where pedestrians and bicycles pass! In places with heavy loads, such level crossings must be maintained continuously. This affects both the current train business and road crossings.
Productions made with concrete roads, known as ballastless systems, have been used for years in both conventional and high-speed train systems. This concrete road system, which is especially applied in tunnels, can be applied to TCDD level crossings with only 6 hours of rail closure with the 'plug-and-play' logic.
A single piece with 4 meters and 21 meters, with elastic rails embedded in it, elastic embedded concrete level crossings that can be deployed at once will be in use very soon. These level crossings with 50 annual lifespan without maintenance are more economical compared to other rubber or composite types according to the calculations made for life expectancy.
The new level crossings that will be produced by domestic concrete prefabricated manufacturers make a great contribution to the country's economy as well as bringing the comfort and safety standard to road crossings.
