İZBAN, which made its first trip on August 30, 2010 and completed the year with 2.6 million passengers, served 2011 million in 40, 2012 million in 55, 2013 million in 65, 2014 million in 82 and 2015 million in 88. Reaching 2016 million passengers in the first 9 months of 68, the number of passengers carried by İZBAN has increased to 400 million since the day it was founded.
On the other hand, İZBAN, which carries an average of 300 thousand passengers per day, has increased its share in public transportation in İzmir, where 1.7 million trips are made every day, to 20 percent. 6 million trips have been made so far on the Cumaovası-Tepeköy line opened by İZBAN on February 1.
