Çanakkale 1915 Bridge will pass its new route: Minister of Transport Ahmet Arslan announced the route of the Çanakkale 195 Bridge.
The transition route of the Çanakkale Bosphorus Bridge and connecting roads was determined. 1915 Çanakkale Bridge will be connected to Sütlüce and Suluca axis. Thus, after the Bosphorus bridges, the bridge will be connected by the Çanakkale Bridge and the Asian and European sides. With the bridge to be made on the European side of Kınalı and the Asian side of Balıkesir will be connected with the highway passing.
The highway, which will start with the Istanbul motorway and connect with the Çanakkale 1915 Bridge, reaches the Çanakkale peninsula via Tekirdağ and provides a bridge to Anatolia. The road going on the Anatolian side of Çanakkale will continue from the Çan route to Balıkesir city center and join the ongoing Izmir highway.
With the new bridge and highway projects, the European side will be transferred to the Anatolian side. In this way, transportation will be shorter and more comfortable in the northern Aegean region of Çanakkale and Balıkesir. The distance to the west of Central Anatolia, Izmir and the distance from Adana to Adana will be shortened.
In this context, the total length of the highway projects in 2013 was planned as 324,415 kilometers. The length of the 4023 meter, the middle clearance 2013 meter, which is the length of the Dardanelles strait anchors is reported to be 1000 meter. The life of the bridge was planned as 100 year.
