Timurboğa announced that Eskişehir-Kütahya-Afyonkarahisar-Burdur-Antalya High Speed ​​Train Line Survey Works will be completed this year, and that the construction tender will be made after the completion of the EIA and Feasibility Reports in 2017. At the meeting, Governor Şerif Yılmaz and Mayor Ali Orkun Ercengiz conveyed their request to take the current Loading-Unloading Station to the Organized Industrial Zone.
Providing information about the activities at the Provincial Coordination Board Meeting, TCDD 7th Regional Manager Enver Timurboğa said, “In 2015, we carried 194 thousand tons of cargo in Burdur. In 2016, 9 thousand 82 tons of freight was carried for 53 months. In Burdur, there is a High Speed ​​Train project that we run within our General Directorate. An allowance of 2016 and a half million TL was allocated in 8 for the survey project work on the Eskişehir-Kütahya-Afyonkarahisar-Burdur-Bucak-Antalya line section on the Eskişehir-Antalya Line. Survey project, EIA report and Feasibility Report will probably be completed in 2017 and the construction will come to the tender stage. " said.

We have an Antalya railway project right now. We are doing our project to Antalya via Istanbul, Eskişehir, Afyon and Burdur. I hope he will meet the high speed train in Antalya. It will be connected to both Ankara and Istanbul as passenger and freight transportation. There is the Samsun - Çorum, Kırıkkale - Kırşehir - Aksaray, Adana - Mersin line that we initiated as the North - South project we have developed in recent years. Thus, we will connect Samsun and Mersin ports. In the vision of 2023, we are planning to build 13 thousand kilometers of railway line. " said.
Let's take the Loading-Unloading to the OIZ
Mayor Ali Orkun Ercengiz stated that only one company used the train line, which divides the city center into two, as the loading-unloading point and said, “We had a request for the loading and unloading station to be removed from the city center and moved to the Organized Industrial Zone. We renew this request. If this station is brought to the Organized Industrial Zone, it will make our work easier. We would like to express our satisfaction on behalf of the city if a work is done on this. " In his words, he once again demanded that the station be moved to the OIZ.
There is no problem about location in OIZ
Stating that there is no problem regarding the location in the Organized Industrial Zone, Governor Şerif Yılmaz said, “It will be useful to move the Loading Point for the relief of the city and for the convenience of the work of our Organized Industrial Zones. There is no problem regarding location in the Organized Industrial Zone. If a study is done on this subject, it can be used by other companies. " said.
